Waist Away!
 A 30 Day Challenge

It has been a hard struggle in the last year of being in a pandemic. Many people have become more sedentary due to working from home or being laid off. It seems we all started with the excitement of doing online workouts or buying fitness equipment while fitness centres and class studios have been closed.

However, as the days went by, excuses to exercise started to fade. I have created a 30 day challenge to get you back on track and help you learn how to overcome obstacles that stand in your way of the being the strongest and healthiest you!

My challenge comes with a day by day structure of exercises and motivational tips. Whether you just need to re- motivate yourself or if you are a beginner, this workout is perfect for all fitness levels as well as those recovering from injury.

Along with exercising, it is important to eat properly. Everyday we have temptations whether it be cake, cookies, a bag of chips or, like many of you, red wine! Living a happier life means

appreciating the foods we enjoy. We need to pick and choose wisely each day in order to meet our fitness goals.

I will be honest, I went from teaching many classes each week for 20 years and then down to zero during the last year. Did I gain weight? I sure did but it is ok because I know I can change and feel better about myself.

I would love for you to join me on the journey back to health. I will be with you every step of the way. Everyone needs motivation and a cheering squad. Life is tough but feeling better about yourself will help you get through those hard days ahead. We don't have the ability to control every situation, especially at this time in our lives. This pandemic has created an increasingly stressful time for everyone. There is more depression and feelings of the unknown. On top of that, we have everyday obstacles we have to see through.

Sadly my dog Willow of 16 years passed away this year and it was one of the saddest times of my life. I decided to go for a walk/run everyday to gather my strength to deal with such a loss. Each day I felt a little brighter because I had some control on how I handled it. Without exercise and the decision to make myself feel better, I am sure I would have stayed in bed and drank a copious amount of wine.

So with that said, if you want to:

- Be more healthy

- Lose weight/inches

- Gain strength

- Feel more confident

- Stay focused on your tasks

- Wake up smiling

- learn to fuel your body to get results

Then this challenge is just what you need!
